In Japan cherry blossoms symbolize good fortune and are also an emblem of love, affection and represents spring – it is with this in mind that we presents the Sakura collection. Its flowers are nearly pure white, tinged with the palest pink and the creation of this collection requires a painstaking seven-step process.
After each piece is mouth-blown it is cased with a second layer of white crystal, the Sakura flowers are then created by sandblasting off almost the entire layer of white crystal with only the white blossoms and branches remaining.
